Originally from Romania, I have been living in New Zealand since 2007 with my husband and our two sons, who were both born here. Before relocating, I gained valuable international experience working in the United States for several years, as well as on cruise ships in Sales and Marketing roles.
I completed my Bachelor’s Degree in Translation and Interpreting in 2005, which marked the beginning of my career as a freelance translator and interpreter for a range of agencies.
Driven by a passion for languages and meaningful communication, I continued to expand my professional skills by completing an ESOL Diploma, Certificates in Web Design and E‑Writing, and a Diploma in Proofreading and Editing. This diverse training enabled me to bring multiple language‑related services together under one umbrella, leading to the creation of Language Communication Services.
Since 2010, I have been a full member of the New Zealand Society of Translators and Interpreters (NZSTI) and am recognized as a NAATI Interpreter (National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters).
